Financial terms of the deal to buy Cyber Tech Consulting Corp. (CTC) of
Piscataway, N.J. were not released. CTC specializes in technical resourcing,
project and software development, education and training, and e-commerce
solutions and services.
Cognicase said its acquisition of six-year-old CTC will "add a critical mass of
technical resources to Cognicase's U.S. operations, along with strengthening its
solutions and project capability in the U.S market place."
Cognicase CEO Ronald Brisebois said the deal will allow the company "to
consolidate (its) operations in the northeastern U.S. It signals our determination to
pursue development opportunities in this market."
Cognicase specializes in providing e-business solutions.
